Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda Remixes Deftones and Maynard James Keenan's "Passenger"
The remix will appear on the upcoming 'Black Stallion'

It's been a rollercoaster ride for Deftones fans in the last few months, as the long-running nü metal band released Ohms and announced a new remix album before having their guitarist come out as an anti-vaxxer and flat earther. But back to that second point: for their upcoming Black Stallion remix album, Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda has reworked "Passenger."The song, which is widely considered to be a standout from White Pony, features guest vocals from Tool's Maynard James Keenan. The new version is a decidedly electronic affair, adding plenty of textural synths and beats to the original.
